People
People. There are all kinds and types of people in this world, and it's amazing how we all effect each other in our own unique ways. People have different ideologies, thoughts, personalities, quirks, reasoning's, and rules that they live by. Although I definitely respect individuality in a person, it is sometimes a challenge to let certain aspects of a person's life reign free when it effects you in an adverse or sometimes even puzzling way. Sometimes, no matter how hard I try, I just do not understand people. And, at the same time, I am sure there are plenty that have the same thoughts about me. It's the little things about people that get to me sometimes.... little things that to them aren't even an issue, but to me, if I dwell on them too long...they become huge insurmountable mountains. It's amazing to me how someone refuses to use a cell phone in this day and age, or own a computer, or if they have a computer they refuse to have Internet, or if they have both, refuse to email or blog, or become part of a social network, or any other thing that is part of this high technological world. Yes, it's their prerogative, and I respect that, but I still continue to ask myself, "why"? Why does a person care how or when I sigh at work, how I park my car, what I eat for lunch, what I do and don't wear... the list goes on and on. The funny part about it all, is that I look at those people who think oddly of what I do, and I am thinking that they are odd because they are thinking that way of me. It is just a vicious circle of humanity. God created each one of us unique beings to bring honor and glory to Him. It is not my duty on earth to judge or dwell on why people do or do not do certain things, or why they act certain ways. I think if anything, I have used this in my mind to look at other people, compare them to myself, and then think of myself more highly than I ought. That is probably one of the worst things that a person can do, and one of the most annoying for others to have to watch or notice. People are different, interesting, and of course unpredictable. I think it is the small petty person who does not respect a person's individuality or uniqueness. I know I might not always completely understand people, but I can always respect them for what they stand for.
